FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Golf was represented at a pair of tournaments this week, with one squad heading to the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. and the other making the short trek to Milford for the SHU Fall Invitational.

At the Lehigh Invitational,
Alexa Brown led the Stags through 36 holes at Saucon Valley Country Club. Brown carded a 170 for the event, improving by eight strokes in Tuesday's final round as Fairfield turned in an eighth-place team finish.
Madison Banas and
Mariana Antaya also each carded a better score on their second trip through the course.

St. John's topped Quinnipiac by seven strokes to win the Lehigh Invitational. Kaitleen Shee shot a 152 (+8) and birdied the first playoff hole to claim individual medalist honors over Queenie Lai of Quinnipiac.

In Milford, the Stags took to Great River Golf Club for the SHU Fall Invitational and finished up the weekend in seventh place.
Arianna Palmeri headed that effort as she and
Sydney Bardsley each showed improvement throughout the tournament, shaving strokes off of their respective scores in Monday's final round.

Hartford won the tournament by six strokes over Brown, while Kailee Welch of the host Pioneers earned individual medalist honors with a 149 (+5).

Fairfield Women's Golf concludes the fall slate on Oct. 28-29 at the Vanessa Picciotto Perrine Memorial Intercollegiate at Richmond County Country Club on Staten Island.
