HANOVER, N.H. – Fairfield University Women's Golf completed 18 holes at Hanover Country Club on Saturday afternoon for the opening round of the Dartmouth Invitational. The Stags rank 12th of 15 teams after their first trip through the course, led by a 77 (+5) from
Madison Banas.

Banas ranks tied for 29th in the 86-golfer field, but just four strokes out of the top-10 on a cramped individual leaderboard.
Alexa Brown added an 80 (+8) for the Stags, followed by
Taylor Rogers (82),
Riley Sullivan (83) and
Arianna Palmeri (85).

Siena's Sara Riso is the current pacesetter after firing a 66 (-6) to lead Megan Henry of Albany by two shots after 18 holes.

On the team leaderboard, the Stags sit ahead of Sacred Heart, Southern New Hampshire and Holy Cross. Fairfield is three shots back of 11th-place Wagner and seven strokes shy of 10th-place Yale. Albany owns a seven-shot lead over Harvard atop the leaderboard after the Danes carded a collective 289 (+1) on Saturday.
