MILFORD, Conn. – Taylor Rogers and Arianna Palmeri shared 13th place on the individual leaderboard to set the pace for Fairfield University Women's Golf in the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational. The Stags placed seventh in the team standings after 18 holes at Great River Golf Club in Milford.
 
Rogers and Palmeri each shot 167 over two rounds. Madison Banas was one stroke behind them with a 168, fueled by the best individual round for a Stag with an 80 on Sunday. Sydney Bardsley (213) and Kelly Langan (214) rounded out Fairfield's quintet of competitors.
 
Andrea Sanchez of St. John's earned individual medalist honors with a two-round 149 (+5) to top Sara Riso of Siena by three strokes. Sanchez also led the Red Storm to a runaway victory on the team leaderboard as the squad topped second-place host Sacred Heart by 20 strokes.
 
The Stags are back in action this weekend at the Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational beginning Saturday, April 14 at Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield.
