JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Taylor Rogers and
Madison Banas set the pace for Fairfield University Women's Golf at the Bulldog Florida Invitational hosted by Butler. The Stags finished fifth with a 36-hole team score of 756 at Windsor Parke Golf Club in Jacksonville.

Rogers shared 12th place on the individual leaderboard, while Banas improved her score by nine strokes on her second trip through the course to place tied for 19th.
Arianna Palmeri (25th),
Kelly Langan (28) and
Sydney Bardsley (29th) rounded out the Stags' quintet. Rogers' 80 on day one of the tournament stood up as the week's best round by a Fairfield golfer.

Tournament host Butler won the event, pulling away to a 23-stroke lead over Monmouth. Chicago State's Felicia Davenport took home medalist honors. Davenport tied Abigail Gleixner and Lauren Tibbets of Butler with a two-round 156 but claimed the top of the leaderboard on a tiebreaker.

The Stags return to competition on April 8-9 at the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational at Great River Golf Club in Milford.
