JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Taylor Rogers carded an opening-round 80 to lead Fairfield University Women's Golf in the opening round of the Bulldog Florida Invitational hosted by Butler University at Windsor Parke Golf Club in Jacksonville. The Stags slot fourth on the team leaderboard after 18 holes of action.
 
The Stags posted a 372 (+84) to top Chicago State in the first round. Host Butler leads the field with a 331 (+43) followed by Monmouth and Eastern Illinois.
 
Rogers' 80 (+8) places her two shots off the pace set by Butler's Abigail Gleixner. Madison Banas (96), Arianna Palmeri (98) and Kelly Langan (98) also scored for the Stags on Wednesday.
 
The final round of the Bulldog Florida Invitational tees off on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
