Anthony Boselli also joined the hitting parade, combining for five hits in the afternoon.
The Eagles (3-3) struck for five runs in the first two innings highlight by three RBI singles in the third inning to jump out to a 5-0 lead.
The Stags (0-2) had their first scoring opportunity in the fourth when Boselli doubled down the left field line, but the Eagles were able to gun down the runner at the plate.
That would be the only chance for the Stags until the seventh. After surrendering just three hits in his first six innings, the Stags were able to get to the Eagles' starter Seth Shuman.
Kevin Radziewicz would start the rally with a single to left and Boselli followed with a base knock through the right side. Blake would close the deficit as he launched the ball over the right field wall for a three-run shot. It was the first home run of the season for the Stags and the sixth of Blake's career.
Now trailing by two, Fairfield tried for another rally in the eighth.
Drew Arciuolo would single to right and advance to second on a failed pickoff.
Jack Gethings would walk to put runners on first and second, but Cole Whitney was able to retire the next hitter on a fly out.
The Eagles would use that momentum in the bottom half of the inning, by scoring two runs after loading the bases.
Boselli led the team with three hits in the contest.
David Sacco led the trio of Fairfield pitchers with 4.1 quality innings as he allowed just one hit while striking out six.
The Stags and the Eagles will close out their three game series on Sunday at noon.
