2021: Pitched to an unblemished 2-0 record and a 1.93 ERA in 12 appearances and 18.2 innings…Tossed seven-straight scoreless appearances to start the year spanning 9.1 innings…Picked up the save by going 2.0 innings against Quinnipiac which included a bases loaded one out jam (4/7)…Earned the win against the Bobcats by hurling a season long 2.2 scoreless innings allowing just one hit and striking out four (4/14)…Also earned the save by tossing 1.2 hitless innings at Niagara (5/8).

2020: Made five appearances going 1-1 with three strikeouts…Picked up the victory by tossing four scoreless innings in relief allowing just one hit against Stetson (3/11).

2019: MAAC All-Tournament Team…In 21 appearances, led the Fairfield pitching staff in ERA (1.79) and wins (five)…His 1.79 ERA was the ninth lowest in program history and the fourth best since 1994…One of the best relievers in the conference and the region as he held a 0.80 ERA in his relief appearances, surrendering just four earned runs in 45.1 innings…Did not allow an earned run in his last 11 appearances on the season, spanning 24.1 innings…Picked up the first of his six saves with four shutout innings in the upset win over No. 22 UConn, the program’s first win over a nationally ranked opponent (4/2)…Did not allow a run in three appearances and 8.1 innings in the MAAC Championships including four shutout innings in the Championship Game (5/26).

2018: Made seven starts and 14 appearances and pitched to a 3.38 ERA…Supported a 2.17 ERA over his first six starts (3/13 – 4/17)…Earned his first win of the season by tossing six one-hit innings at Savannah State (3/13)…Did not allow an earned run in his starts at Central Connecticut (3/27) and at Yale (4/4)…Struck out six batters in four innings against Hofstra (4/11).

2017: Made four appearances in his rookie season…Did not allow a run in his final three appearances, comprised of 2.1 innings…Tossed a perfect inning with two strikeouts against Sacred Heart (4/19).

BEFORE FAIRFIELD: The New Haven Register Area’s Most Valuable Player, was perhaps one of the top pitchers in the state of Connecticut, posting a unblemished 9-0 record with a 0.40 ERA, allowing just four earned runs in 69 innings while striking out 83 batters. He was also an All-State selection by the CHSCAm New Haven Register, and MSG Varsity. Oliphant was one of those arms who was not afraid of the spotlight, recording a perfect 8-0 record and a save during his postseason career, helping Amity to four-straight state championships. His one save came this season in the semifinals against New Milford, striking out the side. Oliphant came back to record the win in the state finals for the second-straight game. Along with the two SCC titles, Oliphant also collected three CT Class LL State Championship rings and helped the Spartans to a No. 32 national ranking from MaxPreps in 2016.
