2018: MAAC All-Academic Team…Led the team with 21 appearances as he hurled 39 innings and supported a 4.38 ERA…Started the season with 4.1 scoreless innings of relief at Georgia Southern as he struck out six and allowed one hit (2/24)…Earned the win at Canisius as he tossed three shutout frames (3/25)…Got the save against Rider by surrendering just one hit in two innings (4/8)…Picked up his longest outing of the season at Manhattan and allowed one unearned run in 4.2 innings (4/15)…Pitched a scoreless frame against Sacred Heart to pick up his second save of the year.

2017: Showed his potential on the mound by contributing as both a reliever and starter…Pitched 23.1 innings and recorded a 3.09 ERA…Earned the start in the MAAC Championship Semifinals against Iona, throwing four innings and allowing two runs after three scoreless frames…Struck out a career-high six batters in relief at Niagara (4/29)…Earned the win at Stony Brook with three shutout innings (4/26).

2016: Did not see action in a game in 2016.

2015: Showed his potential as a shutdown reliever, earning a 1.60 ERA in his final eight appearances, and a 2.00 ERA overall…Did not allow more than one hit in any of those appearances during that span and gave up more than one hit in just two appearances…Notched his first career save in the 4-1 win over Saint Peter’s (5/3)…Struck out three batters in two different outings: at Wagner (4/15) and Sacred Heart (4/28).

High School: Earned three varsity letters at Randolph High School … Served as a captain as a senior … Helped the Rams to Morris County and NJ Group 4 Section 1 Championships.

Personal: Son of Robert and Anne Sacco … Has one sibling … Major is undecided.
