BUFFALO, N.Y. – Fairfield University Men's Cross Country concluded the 2018 fall season on Friday at the NCAA Northeast Region Championship. The Stags placed 32nd at the meet, led by
Nick Rispoli in the 10K meet at Audubon Golf Course in Buffalo.

Rispoli climbed the leaderboard at each leg of the 10K trek, finishing in 189th in a loaded 241-runner field with a time of 36:56.1.
Scott Daly followed with a mark of 37:20.7 in his collegiate finale, and
Benjamin Breton was the third Stag to cross the finish line with a time of 37:31.2.

Connor Secora (37:56.1),
Mike Dziuba (38:07.2),
Timothy Salit (38:40.6) and
Chris Fischer (39:14.5) rounded out the septet of harriers to hit the course for the Stags today.

Fairfield topped a pair of Northeast Conference foes on the team leaderboard: Bryant and Sacred Heart.

#12 Syracuse won the NCAA Northeast Region Championship, led by three of the meet's top-10 finishers. MAAC Champion Iona placed second and Army West Point claimed third place. Paul Hogan of UMass Lowell won the individual crown with a winning time of 32:30.9.
