HAMPDEN, Mass. – Finn McGinnis carded a second-round 74 (+2) to lead Monday's showing from Fairfield University Men's Golf at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse in Hampden, Mass. McGinnis was one of three Stags to improve his score on his second trip through GreatHorse.

McGinnis and
James Tyer, who shot a 78 (+6) today after a 7 (+1) on Sunday, are both tied for 15th place to lead Fairfield.
Thomas Urciuoli shaved a stroke off his opening round tally with a 77 (+5) today and
Jacob Zaranek bettered his score by six shots with a 76 (+4).
Patrick Ryan added an 83 (+11) this afternoon and
Jason Salameno shot a second-round 85 (+13).

The Stags are currently tied for 10th on the team leaderboard with an aggregate 617 (+41). Fairfield shares the spot with LIU Brooklyn. Host UConn has a commanding lead with 18 holes to go at 587 (+11) to claim a 12-shot lead over second-place Hartford. The Huskies are paced by the two individual co-leaders, Drake Hull and Jimmy Hervol, both at 145 (+1) for the tournament.
