EDISON, N.J. – Rasmus Ditzinger has been named the MAAC Men's Golfer of the Month for September. The sophomore played in three tournaments last month for Fairfield University Men's Golf, finishing in the individual top three in all three of those outings.
 
Ditzinger played eight rounds in September with six of them falling under par including four in the 60s. He averages a round of 70 for the month with a to-par average of -1.75.
 
To open the month, Ditzinger rode a second-round 66 into a tie for first place at the SHU Fall Classic. He followed with rounds of 69 and 68 to finish second at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate and most recently placed third in a field of 84 golfers at the UConn Invitational.
 
Ditzinger was an All-MAAC Second Team selection for the MAAC Champion Stags in 2025. He carded a pair of top-10 finishes last season.
