FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Director of Athletics Paul Schlickmann announced that effective today, Jim O'Brien will step down as the Head Coach of the Fairfield University Women's Soccer program.

"We appreciate Coach O'Brien's 13 seasons of dedicated service to Fairfield University and thank him for his commitment to our student-athletes," said Schlickmann. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."

A national search for the next head coach will commence immediately.
