FAIRFIELD, Conn. –  Fairfield University women's tennis fell to UNC Greensboro 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In doubles play, all three Fairfield pairs fell by a score of 6-1 giving the home side a 1-0 advantage.

In singles action, Nicole Aragones played great in a 7-6, 6-4 victory over Amy Ellis at the No. 1 spot. Fairfield played much better today, but still fell in straight sets in the remaining five matches. Meghan Zimmer played well at the third spot falling 6-1, 6-3. Gabriella Campos lost a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 5, while Cecilia Parla battled to a 6-2, 6-2 loss at No. 6.  

With that, the Stags have completed their North Carolina road trip and will next travel to Niagara for a conference match on March 19.
