Biography
2016-17: As a sophomore, saw action during the fall season… Parla was 0-1 in singles matches and 0-5 in doubles action… Partnered with Shelby Vertula, Gabriella Campos, and Meghan Ziegler at the Sacred Heart Doubles Tournament on September 12
2015-16: During her freshman went 3-16 in singles matches, mostly playing at No. 6… Earned a 3-2 conference mark with wins over Niagara, Monmouth, and Siena… Paired with classmate Gabriella Campos for doubles playing mainly at No. 3… Played with Meghan Zimmer in conference action for a 2-1 record, topping Siena and Saint Peter's.
Before Fairfield: An All-Conference and All-Academic selection in all four of her seasons at East Catholic...A four-year Honor Roll student.
Personal: Daughter of Janice and John Parla...Has three older siblings, Christina, John and James...Studying at the Dolan School of Business...Grandfather George Boser played tennis, basketball and ran track at Fairfield.
