FAIRFIELD, Conn. –  The Fairfield University women's tennis team fell to Gardner-Webb 7-0 on Monday afternoon in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.
The No.1 doubles duo of Nicole Aragones and Courtney Connors fell 6-0. While the No. 2 and 3 doubles dropped 6-0 and 6-1 respectively. Â Â
In singles action, Aragones played well in a 7-5, 6-1 loss to Rokia Sacko at the No. 1 spot. Following Aragones, Fairfield managed to win just three games combined from the remaining five spots. Meghan Zimmer at the third spot lost, 6-1, 6-0. Gabriella Campos at the five dropped 6-0, 6-1. And rounding out the Fairfield players was Cecilia Parla at the six spot, falling 6-1, 6-0. Â
The Stags will be back on the courts on Wednesday against UNC Greensboro at 2:00 pm.
