FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University women's tennis fell to Seton Hall 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center in New Haven.
At the number one doubles spot, Nicole Aragones and Courtney Connors fell 6-0. Karen McKeough and Meghan Zimmer dropped their match 6-1 at the number two spot. And at third doubles, Cecilia Parla and Gabriella Campos dropped a 6-1 decision.
Aragones competed at the number one singles and fell in two sets 6-2, 6-3. McKeough dropped two sets to Hannah Liljekvist 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Zimmer dropped straight sets 6-1, 6-1 to Isabell Klingert in the No. 3 spot.
Next weekend, the team hosts Drexel on Friday, February 12 at 7:00 pm at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
