FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University women's tennis lost their third-straight match on Friday night to a talented Drexel team, 6-0.
At the No.1 singles, Nicole Aragones dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision to Honami Yazawa. Karen McKeough battled at the No. 2 spot falling 6-1, 6-3. Meghan Zimmer played tough at No. 3 singles before falling, 6-2, 6-2. Courtney Connors competed at No. 4 and was outplayed by Lea Winkler, 6-1, 6-2. Gabriella Campos fell 6-1, 6-3 to Kendra Bunch in the No. 5 spot. And at No. 6 singles was Cecilia Parla who fell 6-0, 6-0.
The Stags will be back in action on Saturday at 12:00 pm at NJIT.
