The Fairfield University men's tennis team kicks off their 2014 spring season as they host Fordham University on Friday, January 24 at 8pm at the Stamford Indoor Courts.

The Stags defeated the Rams, 4-3, last season at Stamford Indoor to open up the spring season. Cameron Amyot defeated Alex DeRienzo, 7-5, 6-2, at No. 6 singles to clinch the match for the Stags while Ofir Solomon posted a pair of victories.

Fairfield (1-0) has a total of nine non-conference matches on tap before resuming MAAC play on March 20 against Quinnipiac at the Walsh Athletic Center Tennis Courts. Last spring, the Stags went 13-9 overall, 5-1 in the MAAC, and advanced to the MAAC Championship final for the sixth year in a row. 

After Friday's match, the Stags head to Boston University on January 26 followed by a stop at NJIT on January 31 to close out the month.
