RIVERDALE, N.Y. -
The Fairfield University women's cross country team finished 32nd overall at the 2013 NCAA Northeast Regional Championship this afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park.

Junior Maureen Crimmins was Fairfield's top-finisher in the women's 6K with a time of 22:51.1. Junior Maggie MacKenzie was the next Stag across the line, finishing in 23:17.1. Freshman Jacqueline-Ann Willsey ran a personal best of 23:29.2 while junior Cate Forte followed in 23:58.3. Freshman Stef Vickers ran a personal best of 24:13.5 while junior Michael Therrien also had a personal best with a time of 24:43.2. Rounding out the Fairfield seven was freshman Hayley Roberts who finished in 25:03.09.

Dartmouth College's Abbey D'Agostino repeated as the NCAA Regional champion, finishing in 19:48.3. Providence College repeated as team champions while Dartmouth was the runner-up and Syracuse took third. Iona placed eighth while Quinnipiac finished 17th. Marist was 23rd while Canisius was 27th overall. Fairfield finished ahead of Manhattan (33rd), Siena (34th), and Niagara (36th).

Fairfield closes out its 2013 campaign on November 23 when the Stags return to Van Cortlandt Park for the 2013 ECAC/IC4A Championships.
