Rakim Sanders Makes His NBA Summer League Debut In

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Rakim Sanders made his National Basketball Association (NBA) Summer League debut with the Golden State Warriors on Friday night, scoring four points and dishing off an assist in six minutes of work. The Warriors went on to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers by a 90-50 score.

Sanders took the floor midway through the fourth quarter and remained on the court through the final buzzer. He scored just a minute into his appearance when he was fouled going to the basket. He made one of the two free throws for hisfirst point with the team. A couple of possessions later, he found Garrett Sim open at the top of the key for an assist.

Sanders added to his scoring total with an acrobatic drive to the basket with 90 seconds, making the layup and converting the free throw for a three-point play.

Golden State returns to the hardwood on Saturday when the team takes on the Denver Nuggets at 6 pm ET. The game will be televised on NBA TV live.
