Stags Complete 2025-26 Slate with Unveiling of MAAC Schedule

Fairfield will play a total of 16 home games this season

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced the 2025-26 men's basketball league schedule, which completes the slate for the upcoming campaign for Fairfield University Men's Basketball. The Stags will begin the season on Nov. 3 at Penn State and open conference play on Dec. 5 at Manhattan.

In addition to the 10 MAAC home games, the Stags will play six non-conference games inside Leo D. Mahoney Arena; Fairfield's 16 regular season home games mark the most in a season since the 1993-94 campaign. Season tickets are on sale now at FairfieldStags.com/TIX.

The Stags will play four of their first five MAAC games on the road, first taking the court at Leo D. Mahoney Arena in league play on Dec. 29 against Saint Peter's. Other notable home games in the league slate include visits from in-state conference foes Quinnipiac on Feb. 1 and Sacred Heart on Feb. 20. The Stags will also play a doubleheader at Mahoney Arena on Feb. 7 when both the men's and women's teams welcome Marist. Defending MAAC Champion Mount St. Mary's comes to Mahoney Arena for the final game of the regular season on March 1.

Fairfield will play both games of the early December MAAC weekend on the road with visits to Manhattan on Dec. 5 and Merrimack on Sunday, Dec. 7. The away ends of the in-state series send the Stags to Sacred Heart on Feb. 5 and Quinnipiac on Feb. 22. Also of note, the league schedule has been adjusted to include a full slate of MAAC action on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 19. Fairfield will visit Siena on that Monday.

Due the unbalanced MAAC schedule format, neither Iona nor Merrimack will visit Fairfield this season, and the Stags will not travel to Mount St. Mary's or Rider. Fairfield plays a traditional home-and-home series with the other eight conference opponents.
