The Fairfield University men's and women's cross country teams will wrap-up their impressive 2012 season at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Saturday, November 17 at Van Cortlandt Park. The University Race begins at 11:45am with the women's 5K followed by the men's 8K at 12:15pm.
At last year's IC4A Championship, the Fairfield men placed third overall in the University Race, the highest-ever finish by the Stags.
Howie Rosas placed 12th overall traversing the 5-mile course in a time of 26:22 while
Jake Ruskan was 15th in 26:27 and
Kyle Short was 22nd in 26:45.
On the women's side, the Stags placed 12th overall in a very competitive University Race. Maureen Crimmins turned in the fastest-ever 5K time by a Stag at Van Cortlandt Park by clocking a 19:01 to finish 22nd overall. Sam Goodnow recorded a time of 19:22, the fourth-fastest time ever by a Stag at VCP while Danielle Renzi had a time of 19:39, the ninth-fastest time.
