The men's and women's cross country teams will head to the 2011 Paul Short Run presented by Brooks on Friday, September 30 on the campus of Lehigh University. The Stags will be competing in the College Brown races, with the men's 8K slated for 12:15pm and the women's 6K scheduled for 1pm.

Last season, despite soggy and muddy conditions, the men's team finished 10th of 40 teams in the College Men Brown race while the women placed 30th. Kyle Short was the Stags' top-finisher with an 8K time of 26:27, good for 52nd out of 357 harriers while Matt Brunelle was next with a time of 26:31 to place 58th.  On the women's side, Meghan Sullivan was the Stags' top finisher in the women's 6K, clocking a time of 23:34 to finished 93rd out of 385 runners.

After the Paul Short Run, the Stags will have two weeks off before they host the Fr. Laurence O'Neil Invitational on October 15.
