ITHACA, N.Y. – The Fairfield University men's tennis team will travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to compete in the ITA Regional that will span from tomorrow, October 13 to October 18.
Last year,
Joe Michalisin was the lone Stag to move past the first round of play after defeating Sacred Heart's Kirill Kasyanov, 6-7, 6-4, 6-0. In the second round of his draw, Michalisin came up short against St. John's Mike Lampa in a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 match.
After a good showing at the Quinnipiac and Columbia Invitational this past weekend, Fairfield is going in with confidence and high hopes. Sophomore transfer

Most recently, the duo of

Dennis Zlobinsky made it to the final at the Columbia Invitational where they dropped to Columbia's Schnur and Narayana 8-2.
Following this week, the Fairfield men's tennis team will have just one tournament left in their fall season. The Stags will travel to New Haven, Conn. for the Connecticut Championships that will start on October 28.
