Hayley Moyer (Riverside, Calif.) on an Akana swing gave Fairfield the 22-21 lead. Siena made it a 24-23 game, but the Stags wouldn't relinquish their lead as Hughes gave Fairfield the victory with a kill.
The third set was close at the start with the score resting at 10-10. A kill by Moyer on the next serve sparked a huge 7-1 run by the Stags. Siena could not recover as Fairfield went on to the 25-17 victory.
