Fairfield University men's lacrosse player Kevin Peters (Darien, Conn.) has been selected to play for the West squad team in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West All-Star game, to be played Sunday, June 6 at Endicott College. It is the second all-star game in as many weeks for Peters, who was named to the North squad for the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/LaxWorld North-South All-Star Game.
Peters enjoyed a career season as a member of the Stags midfield. He finished the year with 11 points, surpassing his nine career points that he accumulated over the course of his first three seasons. Peters finished the year with eight goals, tied for sixth on the team, and handed out three assists, playing in all 14 games.
Fairfield is a member of the ECAC Lacrosse League and posted an 8-6 record during the 2010 campaign. Under head coach
Andy Copelan the Stags have posted a 15-12 mark the last two seasons, posting the program's first back-to-back winning seasons in over a decade. The Stags finished tied for third in the ECAC with a 4-3 mark.
