EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Women's Golf has earned two selections on the All-MAAC teams, which were announced on Monday by the conference office.
Katelynn Waclawski was selected to the All-MAAC First Team, and
Sofia Nogalo merited a place on the All-MAAC Second Team.
Waclawski adds First Team honors to her All-MAAC Second Team distinction last spring. The senior turned in top five finishes at the Battle at the Beach, the Women's Intercollegiate and Prospect Bay, and the Fairfield Tri-Match. Waclawski also topped the leaderboard at the St. John's Women's Invitational, leading the Stags to second place at the 12-team event.
Nogalo collected her first All-MAAC nod with this season's Second Team selection. She won the Le Moyne Lady Dolphin Invitational in the fall, finishing first of 59 golfers at the event. Nogalo also placed ninth in each of her last two outings – the St. John's Women's Invitational and the Fairfield Tri-Match.
In addition, the Stags placed five student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team: Nogalo, Waclawski,
Sophia DeSantis,
Juliette Prud'Homme, and
Grace Windfelder. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Fairfield Women's Golf takes this course this week for the 2026 MAAC Championship at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course. The 54-hole event will be held over three days from April 21-23.
