EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Women's Golf was selected fourth of 10 teams in the MAAC Preseason Poll. The Stags placed sixth at last spring's conference tournament.
 
Defending champion Quinnipiac topped the ledger with eight of nine first-place votes followed by Albany with the remaining first-place tally. Sacred Heart rounded out the top three ahead of the Stags.
 
Fairfield returns five of the six golfers that represented the Stags at the 2025 MAAC Championship, including All-MAAC Second Team performer Katelynn Waclawski.
 
This fall's slate was highlighted by Sofia Nogalo's individual win at the Le Moyne Lady Dolphin Invitational, propelling the Stags to third place at the tournament.
 
Fairfield Women's Golf will open the spring schedule on Feb. 21-22 at the Battle at the Beach in Pawleys Island, S.C.
