Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield University Men's Tennis took the courts at the Walsh Athletic Center for the first time in the 2025-26 season on Friday, hosting the first day of the Fairfield Invitational. The Stags played six matches against competitors from Boston College with Kostas Kollias picking up a win over an ACC foe.
 
Kollias knocked off Oregon transfer Matvey Greschner by a count of 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (8). The Fairfield senior is a five-time All-MAAC honoree in his career, including back-to-back First Team singles honorees in 2023-24 and 2024-25.
 
Other notable performances on Friday saw Diego Alcala push his match to a third set with Boston College's Mai Gao, who played at #4 for the Eagles last spring.
