FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Forward
Sean Albritton earned national recognition for his performance during the 2025 season with a berth to the Top Drawer Soccer's Freshman Best XI First Team. Top Drawer Soccer's annual postseason awards are based on
several factors, including individual performance, statistical accomplishments, conference honors, and team success.
Albritton hit the mark on all of those criteria, finishing the 2025 campaign as the Stags' top scorer with nine goals for 18 points in his 14 appearances. The rookie completed the season as one of the top scorers in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), placing third overall in goals scored, points per game (1.29), and co-leading all MAAC student-athletes with four game-winning goals.
Albritton scored at least one goal in eight matches including one goal in both MAAC Tournament matches. Over his final three games, the forward netted four goals including his only multiple goal match which came in the regular-season finale against Sacred Heart. He tallied the game-winning goal in each of his first two games as a Stag, helping his team edge Army West Point and Monmouth.
He was well-decorated for his performance during the season, earning three MAAC Rookie of the Week awards as well as a spot on the All-MAAC second team.
The Fairfield University men's soccer team, under Head Coach
Krystian Witkowski, advanced to postseason play as one of six teams to participate in the 2025 MAAC Championship as the four seed. The Stags reached the tournament semifinals and completed the campaign with an 8-5-5 overall record and a 5-1-4 conference slate.
