SAN DIEGO – Alex Aguiar and Diego Alcala concluded their weekend at the ITA Conference Masters Championship in the semifinal round of the consolation bracket. The duo was representing Fairfield University Men's Tennis and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference as the doubles champions of the MAAC Masters Tournament.
 
In today's action, Aguiar and Alcala fell to Belmont's Sabi Roi and Stefan Vedovelli – the eventual winners of the back draw. The Fairfield pair reached the semis by way of an upset of a the third-seeded tandem from DePaul on Friday in San Diego.
