SHELTON, Conn. -- The Fairfield University women's rowing team collected top three finishes as three boats competed in both the fours and eights at the Heart of the Housatonic. The women's first varsity 4 secured the best time for the day while the second varsity garnered third place. In the eights, the Stags placed their first varsity crew in second place to highlight a successful day on the water.
In the fours, the first varsity clocked in at 17:08.89 behind the efforts of
Kelly Cullen,
Shawn O'Brien,
Victoria Conrad, Molly Squire, and coxswain Lexi Tomlinson. The second varsity was next in Fairfield's line of finish, securing third place based on its time of 17:38.61. The boat included
Nora O'Connell,
Zuzanna Janusz,
Audrey DiMarino,
Grace McDonough, and coxswain
Leah Murphy. The Stags also inserted a third boat into the competition which ninth by completing the distance in 19:20.77. Jill Segel,

Grace Tyszka put forth the top 10 finish for the Stags.
 Fairfield's first varsity eight crossed the line in 15:42.45 which second only to Sacred Heart which posted a time of 15:32.45. The Stags' entry was comprised by

The second varsity 4 brought a time of 17:24.17 which placed the group 16th overall. The shell included

Sophia Savage, and coxswain
Alisa Tsavaris. The third varsity 8 completed the day by finishing 18th in 17:41.01. The crew consisted of Zoey Adams,

Lauren Hoppe,
Sadie Eppinger, Luci Greisman, Ainsley Hoeksema, and coxswain

The Fairfield University men's and women's rowing teams will finisn up the Fall season next weekend when the programs travel to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. for the Hudson Sprints beginning on Saturday, November 8.
