FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) recognized 17 Fairfield University women's rowers for their academic achievement by presenting the individuals with the CRCA's Scholar-Athlete Award.

Victoria Conrad,
Audrey DiMarino,
Sadie Eppinger,
Caitlyn Gregitis,
Lauren Hoppe,
Zuzanna Janusz,
Shawn O'Brien, Julie Pedrazzi,
Sophia Savage,
Miranda Schmidt, Molly Squire, Lexi Tomlinson,
Grace Tyszka, and
Mia Van Mater.
The CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award honors collegiate rowers who exemplify excellence both in the classroom and on the water. These awards celebrate the commitment, discipline, and academic achievement of student-athletes who rise to the challenge of excelling in a demanding sport while maintaining exceptional academic performance.
To be recognized as a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, nominees must meet rigorous standards in both academic and athletic arenas. The award recipients must meet all eligibility rules, be at least a sophomore in eligibility, and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. And, the individuals must have rowed in at least 75 percent of spring races in an NCAA eligible boat, and raced in an NCAA boat at their conference championship..
