PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Fairfield University women's rowing team finished fourth at the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship which took place on the Cooper River this morning. The Stags tallied 14 points in the competition with Jacksonville University taking the top spot with 35 team points.
Three Fairfield student-athletes earned All-MAAC status following the championship with Molly Squire taking home All-MAAC first team honors in addition to
Victoria Conrad and
Sasha Atencio securing All-MAAC second team accolades.
The second varsity 4 opened the competition in a non-team scoring event. The Stags placed two boats in the race and posted a fifth-place finish by the B boat (8:29.27) and a seventh-place finish by the A boat (8:51.29). The B boat included Luci Greisman, Sophie Counts,
Zoey Ames,
Cate Quinones, and coxswain
Emma Sieger The A shell consisted of Gia Enderle, Grace Polatzek,
Clair Jennings,
Ava Gonnella, and coxswain
Sydney Harwick.
The varsity 4 was next at the starting line and Fairfield responded with a fourth-place effort, finishing the course in 7:45.55 behind the efforts of Jill Segel,
Miranda Schmidt, Julie Pedrazzi,
Audrey DiMarino, and coxswain
Grace Tyszka.
The second varsity 8 followed and ended with a sixth-place finish for the Stags, going the distance in 7:22.14. The crew included

Ainsley Hoekzema,
Nora O'Connell,
Caitlyn Gregitis,
Mia Van Mater,
Sadie Eppinger, and coxswain

The varsity 8 concluded the competition and the Stags completed the event in fourth place with a time of 6:51.27. The group was comprised by
