EDISON, N.J. – After earning six wins in the first month of his senior campaign with Fairfield University Men's Tennis,
Kostas Kollias has been named the MAAC Men's co-Player of the Month. Kollias earned four singles wins and two doubles victories for the Stags in September.
Kollias was 4-2 in singles action last month. He opened his fall with two victories at the Dartmouth Invite, besting both Alec Martinez and Forbes Hollingsworth from Bryant in straight sets. The senior added two more victories the following weekend at home on the Walsh courts, earning wins over Matvey Greschner of Boston College and Finn Burridge from Quinnipiac.
On the doubles courts, Kollias teamed with
Diego Alcala to defeated Zander Bravo and Theo Murphy from Brown as well as Matthew Carioscia and Luke Rais from Boston College.
Kollias is a five-time All-MAAC honoree in his career. He was Second Team in both singles and doubles in 2023, First Team in both in 2024, and a First Team singles selection again in the spring of 2025.
