Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – All 10 Stags to take the court earned at least one victory as Fairfield University Men's Tennis opened the home slate this weekend with the Fairfield Invitational. The Stags competed in "hidden duals" against Fordham, Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart.
 
Fairfield won the majority of its matchups against all three opponents. The Stags went 4-2 in singles and 3-0 in doubles against Fordham, posted a 4-3 singles mark and 3-0 doubles tally against Quinnipiac and went 5-1 in singles while winning one of three doubles bouts with Sacred Heart.
 
Individually, Zach Whittington went unbeaten in his first action on the Walsh Athletic Center courts with three singles wins and one doubles triumph. Fellow rookie Kacper Krolikowski posted a 2-0 singles mark and a 2-1 doubles tally.
 
Callum Jessett was also unbeaten in singles at 3-0, while Alex Aguiar went 2-0 and Luca Benaibbouche finished 2-1. Will O'Brien won his lone singles matchup and Domagoj Stabek split two solo encounters.
 
Kostas Kollias and Sam Hodges each went 2-1, while Benaibbouche, O'Brien, Stabek and Andrew Immink each tallied one win.
