FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University men's and women's swimming and diving teams ranked first among all Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) programs as the conference announced its annual All-Academic teams.
The men's team placed 15 student-athletes on the All-Academic squad, eclipsing Niagara University's count of 13 student-athletes. The women's team added 17 student-athletes to the All-Academic team, two more than Marist Colleges 15 recipients.

To eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
