Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Baseball team has announced their 55-game schedule comprising the 2025 season with their season opener on Feb. 14 and their home opener slated for March 19. The Stags, who have won the last four MAAC regular season championships, will play 30 league games starting with a road series at Manhattan.

"Our schedule is setup with the intent to challenge us with very competitive schools and preparing us for a quicker MAAC starting date in early March this year," Head Coach Bill Currier said. "Our team will have a shorter time to figure things out before jumping into MAAC play, so making use of these games and deciding on lineups and staff spots will be important."

The Stags will play their first 17 games on the road with non-conference series at Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 14-16), Richmond (Feb. 21-23), James Madison (Feb. 28 – March 2), and George Washington (March 7-9) before playing their first MAAC series on the road against Manhattan (March 14-16).

Fairfield begins their 21-game home slate against St. John's at Don and Chris Cook Field on March 19.

In the MAAC, the Stags will host: Siena (Mar. 21-23), Sacred Heart (Apr. 4-6), Merrimack (Apr. 17-19), Quinnipiac (Apr. 25-27), and Niagara (May 9-11).

The Stags will travel to conference opponents: Manhattan, Canisius (Mar. 28-30), Iona (Apr. 11-13), Marist (May 2-4), and Rider (May 15-17).

In the non-conference single games, the Stags will host: St. John's, NJIT (Mar. 25), Central Conn. St. (Apr. 8), Fordham (Apr. 22), FDU (Apr. 23), and LIU (May 13).

Fairfield will hit the road for mid-week contests at: Hofstra (Mar. 11), Army West Point (Mar. 26), Yale (Apr. 2), UMass (Apr. 9), Columbia (Apr. 15), and Stony Brook (Apr. 29).

The Stags are in the midst of the best five-year stretch in program history, winning 30 or more games in each full season. Fairfield also became the first MAAC program to ever win four-straight regular season titles and have appeared in the MAAC Championship Series in four of the last five tournaments.
