DELMAR, N.Y. - Junior Juliette Prud'Homme led the Fairfield University women's golf team this weekend as she finished in a tie for seventeenth place at the 36-hole Albany Great Danes Invitational that took place over the weekend at the Normanside Country Club in Delmar, New York.
As a team, the Stags finished in tenth place in the 12-team event, as they finished at +67 for the two rounds. Seton Hall edged Boston University by one stroke to win the team title, as the Pirates went +41 for the 36 holes.
Prud'Homme finished at 14 over for the tournament shooting a +6 76 on Saturday and a +8 78 on Sunday.
Classmate Katelynn Waclawski was the next Stag on the leaderboard finishing one shot back of her teammate at +15, as she finished with a five over 75 on Saturday and fired an 80 to wrap up play on Sunday.
Senior Julia Rabadam had rounds of 79 and 80 to finish at + 19 for the tournament.
Freshmen Grace Windfelder and Katie Patterson completed the Fairfield competitors on the links in upstate New York.
BU's Christy Chen and Seton Hall's Marta Aguilar tied for medalist honors in the tournament, as they both finished at +5 on the weekend.
Up next, the Fairfield women's golf team will see action in its penultimate tournament of the 2024 Fall schedule, when the Stags are in action on October 14 and 15 at the Quinnipiac Classic that will be played at The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Connecticut.
