HAMDEN, Conn. - The Fairfield University men's tennis team wrapped up play in the inaugural MAAC Masters Tournament hosted by Quinnipiac University on Saturday with unseeded Kacper Krolikowski in action in the singles' quarterfinals and the teams of Kostas Kollias and Will O'Brien plus Krolikowski and Alex Aguiar competing in doubles.

The 2024 MAAC Masters Tournament is a singles and doubles single-elimination tournament for both men's and women's squads.

After winning two matches on Friday, Kacper battled the tournament's top seed in Siena's Oscar Martinez on Saturday morning but fell in straight sets, 3-6, 3-6.

Krolikowski and Aguiar advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles play on Saturday, as the defeated the team Lachmanen/Froberg Dahlen from Rider, 7-5, before falling to Maric/Bedard from Niagara, 2-6.

Kostas Kollias and Will O'Brien dropped their Round of 16 match to the Quinnipiac team of Burridge/Brauno Simo, 4-6, in a hard-fought bout.
