BETHLEHEM, Pa.-Fairfield junior Katelynn Waclawski wrapped up the Fall 2024 women's golf schedule in fine style on Sunday taking medalist honors at the Lehigh Invitational that was held at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Katelynn took first place in 36-hole event by two strokes over Navy's Megan Kirkpatrick, as she finished with a two-day total of six over par, 150.
Waclawski entered Sunday's final round one shot off the lead in a tie for second place after shooting a two over par, 74, on Saturday, and she fired a four over par 76 on Sunday to claim the crown in the Keystone State with a total of 150.
As a team, the Stags finished in a three-way tie with host Lehigh and Fairleigh Dickinson University for third place in the nine-team event, shooting a total score of 640 (+64) for the two rounds. Fairfield finished just four strokes behind second place UAlbany who finished at 636 (+60). Navy won the team competition at Lehigh finishing at +38 for the two rounds.
Sofia Nogalo continued her strong finish to the fall campaign, as she shot a 155 (+11) to finish in a tie for sixth place in Bethlehem.
Julia Rabadam was next on the leaderboard for the Stags finishing in a tie for 26th at +20.
Grace Windfelder and Juliette Prud'Homme wrapped up the Stags' squad at the Lehigh Invitational.
