Box Score HANOVER, NH.-Sophomore Calum Jessett picked up his third singles' victory in as many days and teamed with freshman Zach Whittington for a win in doubles, as the Fairfield University men's tennis team wrapped up play at the Dartmouth Invite; the Stags' penultimate tournament of the fall.
For the third straight day, Jessett defeated a Boston College player in singles, as on Sunday, he swept Liam O'Leary, 7-5, 6-2.
Jessett and Whittington topped the team of Groom/Onuma from host Dartmouth, 7-5.
Senior Sam Hodges posted the Stags final win on Sunday notching a straight sets, 6-1, 7-6, triumph over BC's Andrew Overvelde.
The Dartmouth Invite featured competitors from Fairfield, Boston College, Buffalo and the host Big Green.
Up next, the Fairfield men's tennis team will finish its 2024 Fall Schedule at next week's ITA New England Regional Championship hosted by Harvard University.  Action in Cambridge, Massachusetts will run from October 17 through October 21.
