EDISON, N.J. – Fairfield University Men's Basketball and in-state foe Quinnipiac will play a nationally-televised contest on Friday, Feb. 3, as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has flexed the Stags' road outing in Hamden to ESPNU as a part of the MAAC "wildcard" schedule. Opening tip-off from Hamden remains scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
After Sunday's 56-52 win at Saint Peter's, the Stags are currently 7-10 overall and 3-4 in the MAAC. Fairfield has four games on tap before heading to Hamden, beginning with a Friday, Jan. 20 visit from Canisius at Leo D. Mahoney Arena. Quinnipiac in 14-5 on the season and 5-3 in the MAAC. The Bobcats will play three more games before welcoming the Stags to M&T Bank Arena on Feb. 3.
