Fairfield University women's golf will open the spring 2022 calendar when they tee-off this Friday and Saturday at the SHU Spring Break Invitational in Florida.
STAGS SCOUTING REPORT
The lineup put out by fifth-year Head Coach Doug Holub is highlighted Sydney Nethercott leads the Stags into Friday's opening round after leading the team with the best individual score of any player during nearly every match during the fall campaign. Addy Douglas paced the Stags at the Sacred Heart Fall Invitational, finishing 21st out of 70 with a 76 after carding an 84 in the opening round the day before. Riley Sullivan will also compete in the event as an individual.

THE COURSE
Located in Daytona Beach, Fla., LPGA International has been the home course of the LPGA tour since 1994 and is home to a pair of 18-hole courses, with the Stags competing on the Jones course this weekend. The course features 10 par fours in addition to four Par five spots along the course sit at holes five, nine, 13, and 16, and four par threes await the golfers at holes three, six, 14, and 17.
THE FIELD
Fairfield will compete alongside 13 other universities, including a pair of Nutmeg State foes in Hartford and Sacred Heart, and a single MAAC opponent in Siena. The rest of the field includes Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Holy Cross, Lehigh, LIU, Merrimack, Mount St. Mary's Purdue Fort Wayne, St. Francis, and Seton Hall.
