BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Golf played its final competitive round prior to the 2021 MAAC Championship with 18 holes at the Hartford/Gillette Ridge Invitational on Sunday.
Diana Velez was the Stags' top performer with an 82 (+10) on the day.

Velez's 82 slotted her tied for 10th place on the individual leaderboard.
Grace Kryscio shot an 83 and
Riley Sullivan carded an 85 to finish just shy of their teammate. Hartford's Brooke Mackinnon set the individual pace with a 73 (+1) to beat the field by three strokes.

As a team, Fairfield was fourth of five on the ledger. The Stags were decisively ahead of fifth-place Holy Cross and seven strokes short of third-place Hartford. Boston University won the team title, paced by four of the top-five individual performers.

The 2021 MAAC Championship is slated for April 23-25 at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
