HEBRON, Conn. – Hitting the course for the second consecutive day, Fairfield University Women's Golf turned in a third-place performance this afternoon at the Hartford/Blackledge Invitational.
Addy Douglas led the Stags with a sixth-place individual finish.

The Stags posted a 322 (+34) as a team, eight shots back of tournament winner Quinnipiac and five strokes behind second-place host Hartford. The Stags defeated Sacred Heart, Franklin Pierce, Merrimack and Holy Cross.

Douglas carded a 76 (+4) to place sixth in a field of 44 golfers. The individual medalists. Zoey Yamamoto of Franklin Piece and Leeyen Peralta of Quinnipiac, shared the top of the leaderboard with even-par rounds of 72.

Douglas was followed by twin 81s (+9) from
Alexa Brown and
Diana Velez. An 84 (+12) carded by
Riley Sullivan rounded out the quintet of scorers for the Stags. Also of note,
Mariana Antaya shot an 82 (+10) playing as an individual.

This Friday, the Stags head to Bloomfield for the Hartford/Wintonbury Hills Invitational.
