STATEN ISLAND, NY – Fairfield men's swimming and diving put forth a strong effort against St. Peter's at Wagner but ultimately fell by a score of 127-153.
Patrick Boyle finished in first-place in the 1000 Yard Freestyle clocking in at 9:57.90. He also placed second in the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:54.97) and third in the 200 Yard Butterfly.
Benjamin Kebbell also came in first in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a final time of 53.36. He also finished second in the 100 Yard Freestyle (48.99).
Phillip Zyskowski took first in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:01.90 and third in the 500 Yard Freestyle. Evan Fair placed first in the 200 Yard Backstroke (1:57.35) and the 200 Yard Individual Medley (1:57.55).
Jordan Rahurahu finished in second place in the 200 Yard Butterfly (2:02.22) and the 100 Yard Butterfly (54.00). He also finished third in the 200 Yard Individual Medley.
Michael Sparks finished third in the 1000 Yard Freestyle while
Peter Sloan finished third in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Nicholas Adams also finished second in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
Benjamin Kebbell,
Peter Gori, Evan Fair, and
Brendan Finnegan finished in second place in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a final time of 3:20.43.
Lukas Stanton scored a 203.32 in the 1 Meter Diving and a 231.97 in the 3 Meter Diving.
The Stags will return to the pool on Friday, January 11 as they host Holy Cross at the Recplex Pool at 4 P.M.
