PERRY, N.Y. – After completing his four-year standout career with Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse,
Joe Rodrigues '18 will represent the Stags this weekend at the USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game. The showdown of the nation's top senior student-athletes is slated for Friday, May 25 on the campus of Providence College.
Rodrigues is a part of the combined Division I and Division II North All-Stars, who will challenge the South All-Stars on Friday at 7:30 p.m. He is one of seven CAA student-athletes tabbed for the 77th playing of the annual all-star exhibition.
A captain of the 2018 Stags, Rodrigues led the Stags with 30 goals this past season to round out his career totals at 71 goals and 14 assists for 85 total points. Rodrigues owns a share of the Rafferty Stadium venue record with his six-goal performance on March 17 against Penn State. He was tabbed as an All-CAA Second Team attackman this spring after earning the same honor as a midfielder in 2017. Rodrigues graduated as an NEILA All-Academic honoree with a degree in Finance from the Dolan School of Business.
