BUFFALO, N.Y. – Fairfield University Men's Swimming and Diving wrapped up the third day of competition at the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships on Friday in Buffalo.
Jordan Rahurahu continued his strong weekend, placing second in the 400-yard individual medley to lead Friday's effort at Erie Community College.

In the 400-yard IM, Rahurahu clocked in at 3:58.90 to place second and score 17 points for the Stags. The event marked the second top-five finish of the MAAC Championships for the sophomore, who took fifth in the 200-yard IM yesterday.

Also on Friday,
Benjamin Kebbell added three points to the Stags' team score with a 14th-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke. Kebbell clocked in at 51.72 seconds at his first MAAC Championship.

The team of Kebbell,
Harrison McGovern, Rahurahu and
Ian Nelson rounded out Fairfield's scoring on the day with a seventh-place performance in the 400-yard medley relay.
With 124 total points thus far, the Stags are just one point behind seventh-place Monmouth. Rider tops the leaderboard with 486 points, holding an 84-point cushion over Marist heading into Saturday.
