NEW HAVEN, CONN. -- Fairfield University Women's Tennis battled hard this morning against in-state rivals Yale but ultimately fell by a score of 7-0. 
 
Anna Komer and Jessica Pil came away with the lone win on the day defeating Sunday Swett and Amy Yang at #2 doubles. 
 
"We played well in spurts today but couldn't sustain it" said Head Coach Jeff Bricker. "Yale is a very good team this year, but it was a great win for Anna and Jess in doubles."
 
The Stags will return to action when they travel to St. John's next Sunday, January 28 at 8:30 P.M.
